Participating municipalities

Please note that you will receive your guest card upon your arrival by your host in the following municipalities. Either once you check in or in advance by e-mail via link to the digital travel guide.

Public transport for free

Simply hop on and hop off: Enjoy free travelling on public transport. You can use buses and trains free of charge in the entire area of Bodensee-Oberschwaben Verkehrsverbund (bodo) - for your excursions, day trips or hiking tours. Your EBC is valid for the entire duration of your stay and serves – in combination with your ID – as your personal ticket. Please present your EBC to the driver when hopping on the bus without being asked. The card is valid for almost all connections (except long-distance coaches and long-distance trains IC/EC). Children under the age of six always travel for free. Dogs are also taken along free of charge.

Detailed validity range. From Friedrichshafen to Bad Schussenried, from Bodman- Ludwigshafen to Leutkirch and from Lindau to Pfullendorf: Your EBC is your ticket to the free use of bodo’s mobility offerings.

Duration of validity

 The ECHT BODENSEE CARD can be used on every full day as well as on the day of arrival and departure.  It is not possible to transfer the EBC itself or the right to use the EBC services in whole or in part to a future stay or to another person.
